How to HDR

This can be a quick and dirty solution to capturing a graphic with increased dynamic range. Simply take one photograph of the thing that may be super bright (however, it absolutely was the sun while using sun behind the clouds), then have a second photograph with the thing which is super dark (in this case, it absolutely was the landscape foreground), then combine both the in Photoshop and BAM - You will have a photo that may be improved significantly. It's recommended to train on a tripod, Aperture Priority mode, manual focus, and Spot Metering. I shot these in JPEG format because I will be lazy and forgot to work with RAW. Using RAW would have been a wise decision.

Please remember, if you are into this photography, you'll love my Trick Photography and Special Effects e-book (and soon to be DVD / online video course).
